Buford Kids’ SPOT was inspired by owner Deb Hughes’ experience raising her son, Daniel, who was diagnosed with the rare neurological condition Alexander disease. Her journey as a parent led her to become a speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) and build the kind of practice she wanted for her own family—one where children are known as individuals and families have people in their corner.
Today, that experience is still at the heart of how we care for every family. We listen, collaborate, advocate, and look beyond the therapy room to give each child the support they need to thrive.
