When you refer a child for therapy, you want to know they’ll receive skilled, individualized care, and that their family will have a team committed to helping them navigate what comes next. Buford Kids’ SPOT provides that level of care.
We offer pediatric speech, occupational, feeding, AAC, and myofunctional therapy for children with a wide range of needs. Our team is experienced and comfortable working with medically complex children, including children with rare diagnoses and significant support needs.
Collaborative Care for the Whole Child
We believe the best outcomes happen when everyone supporting a child works together. Our therapists collaborate with families, physicians, schools and other professionals to encourage consistency across the child’s everyday environments.
Whenever possible, children see the same therapist on the same day and time each week, which allows our therapists to build strong relationships with their patients and develop a meaningful understanding of their individual needs.
Families also receive support beyond therapy. Buford Kids’ SPOT helps connect parents with community resources and assists families navigating waivers, durable medical equipment, school advocacy, and other support systems.
